Job Summary:
The Massage Manager will be responsible for creating a team environment, exemplary guest service and a professional, highly trained and motivated treatment staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ability to lead and motivate a group of massage professionals.
Coordinate product knowledge classes and technical presentations as they relate to the massage department.
Create and maintain a professional, safe, nurturing and healing environment where the experience at The Spa at Pebble Beach lends itself to making a difference in our guests lives.
Conduct all human resource related provisions for staff (i.e. interviewing, hiring, performance review, job recognition and disciplinary procedures).'
Maintain and perform necessary payroll duties for staff, assuring proper compliance with time recording procedures.
Purchase, organize and distribute product and supplies in accordance with treatment volume and budgetary guidelines.
Coordinate and maintain ongoing training for staff in the areas of safety, guest service and team building.
Address staff and guests concerns or questions, resolving appropriately.
Take ownership of any guest or staff related problem and handle accordingly.
Conduct monthly staff meetings.
Development of massage services.
Assure the delivery of five star services by all massage therapists.
Ensure appropriate scheduling of staff to maximize revenue and minimize lost business.
Participate in manager meetings, training and team efforts.
Comply with all Pebble Beach Company safety and health policies and procedures
Act as manager on duty
Other duties as assigned by Assistant Spa Director
Absolutely Required Skills:
High school diploma required
Minimum 2 years management experience
CAMTC license required if individual is a massage therapist
CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
Supervisory, time management, problem solving and team development skills required
Demonstration of exceptional leadership skills essential.
Desired Skills:
2 years professional massage experience preferred
MS Office experience, SMS
College degree preferred

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
