Summary:
The Security Operations Manager will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all aspects of security, traffic, parking, and pedestrian safety during special events.
The Security Operations Manager will assist the Director of Security with administrative, residential needs, and training programs for the Security department.
This role may be assigned additional duties by the Director of Security.
Essential Duties &
Responsibilities:
Enforce safety procedures and write notices of safety hazards.
Supervise the work of staff by delegating assignments and checking the quality work.
Counsel, discipline, and provide input for staff evaluations.
Hire, promote, and terminate staff.
Schedule employees, approve overtime.
Enforce and oversee the enforcement of all company policies and procedures.
Ensure the maintenance of all security equipment.
Maintain good, working relationships with department managers.
Understand and implement security procedures for emergency situations, including medical emergencies, fires, blackouts, earthquakes, bomb threats and if necessary, evacuation.
Monitor and enforce employee parking rules.
Report security needs or issues to Director of Security and make recommendations for their resolution.
Maintain supplies and equipment for all Security Gates.
Hold quarterly trainings for all Officers.
Planning and coordination of all material resources, storage, inventory, ordering and replacements to include signs, barricades, fencing, sandbags, flares, emergency medical supplies and any other identified resource to respond to event needs and emergencies.
Working knowledge of identifying and mitigating hazards relating to traffic, parking, and pedestrian safety.
Knowledge of budgets relating to staffing and material allowance.
Ability to work with other government entities, local, and state to include public safety and emergency management.
Assist in gathering and reviewing records/documents on internal investigations.
Maintain databases for internal investigations and incident reports.
Type reports, memorandums, and letters.
Maintain annual database records of employee parking decals issued and surrendered.
Develop and assist in the creation of Security documents in relation to Emergency Procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, Training manuals, and other like documents.
Other duties assigned by the Director of SecurityRequired Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent 2
years' experience in law enforcement or security, especially in a large resort or other institution.
Good communication and organizational skills as well as attention to detail.
Must possess good judgment to recognize problem situations and have the ability to resolve them.
Knowledge of fire and safety codes.
Ability to use two-way radios.
Valid California driver's license, without restrictions as well as current California Guard card, CPR and first aid certificates.
Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, evening shifts and overtime, as neededWhy work for Pebble Beach Company:

Salary:
$75,000 - $90,000/year plus bonus.
